Production Schedule:

W 19th Jan - Starting to put my general ideas into action and thinking about how to plan my photo shoot, also doing my flat plans and decide who I want to use in the photo shoot.


F 21st Jan - Hold the photo shoot in the studio and decide on what background I want to have behind the "musicians".


M 24th Jan - Begin to edit the photos from the shoot after deciding on a few that I like. Start to design the cover of the magazine and also the photos for the contents page etc. Use "PSBrushes"?


F 28th Jan - Start to think about the interviews structure and how to design the double page spread.


M 31st Jan - Begin to interview the "musicians" and start to edit the things that I want to keep and what I want to edit out. Make a recording of the interview and then write it all down and extract the things that I want to put into the magazine.


F 4th Feb - Arrange the photos from the shoot and the interview together so that the coexist perfectly and to my taste and to the design of the magazine.


M 7th Feb - Make any final touches that are necessary.


F 11th Feb - Hand it in!

Planning PhotoShoot

- Possibly use Jake & Ana? (following

1. follow up on the idea of Jake being the singer/guitarist/keyboardist with either an acoustic guitar on his back or just a microphone around his shoulders.

2. Ana being the drummer with drum sticks in her hand drumming an imaginary drum kit?

- If decide to go with the idea of Jake having a microphone around his neck then can have him giving Ana a piggy back and she can drum the imaginary drum kit around his shoulders.

e.g.

- something similar to this but obviously slightly different and with a bit more shadow, white background with maybe just one "lamp light" lighting one side of them?

- Both smiling heavily/laughing

- Both wearing dark edge clothing...

- Jake with a white muscle shirt and on top his black blazer, skinny jeans and converse

- Ana wearing converse, hair down (falling over Jake's shoulders?) skinny jeans or maybe short shorts with no tights? open button checkered shirt and white top with maybe a scarf? or maybe skinny jeans with white high tops?

- Both no make up, just as natural as possible

- Ana leaning in as if she is laughing in Jake's ear?

5 Line Paragraph :)

- my new music magazine is going to be all about retro fun and alternative music which appeals to a certain brand of people. It will appeal to it's target audience because of the different way it's presented compared to other music based magazines. The house style will be mainly based on browns and autumn/summer based colours. The tone and register will be very layed back, addressing of the audience will be very informal, almost as if talking to a friend.

Photoshoot samples

- These are some sample photos of the kind of shoots that I would be interested in. This is simply because they are not the norm of standing and facing the camera and having your photo taken. They're more inventive and have a lot more creativity put into them.

- These are the kinds of photos and ideas that I want to put into my music magazine, so that my audience knows they're about to experience something different.
